Today we're suppose to meet at 1 but we tried to come as early as we could as the other class had to use the 2D lab for presentation! so i came at 11 plus and by then clari was there already and so we did some more scenes for the animatic and blogged. then andrea and tri came and we compiled everything in the 3D lab. it's almost completed! :D just need to add sound effects and such. ;]
well this project has been pretty fun, though it got more stressful towards the end cause we had to rush some of the animations and all. i guess we didn't really plan before we started on our project. but i'm pretty happy and proud about how it has turned out (so far)...hopefully the presentation turns out well! can't wait to see what the other groups did...then after today's presentation, it's....holiday!! woot woot!! :D:D well it's only for two weeks...but at least it's something. ;]
After the presentation
yea so it's done! it turned out pretty damn good. three other lecturers and amanda were there for the presentations and i think they enjoyed all the group's animatics. ;] my favourite has got to be yi chuin's group's animatic. the visuals are awesome and it had this scene which i found pretty touching...the one where the begger fed his bread crumbs to the birds even though he's hungry himself. ;'] all the other groups did really well also! and i'm really happy about how ours came out, though i'm sure we can do better if we had more time.
anyways, thanks to my group mates for putting their time and effort into this! and i have especially say a huge thanks to tri cos without her there, i don't think we could have done this much in such a little time. ;]
yea so bye! end of this boring blog. :b

The reason for the blog isn't so much about the group as it is about yourself and what you've learnt. Your blog isn't as boring as you think it is. It's quite interesting actually, and I'm glad you put in effort even tho' it might have been a chore. :) Good for you!
I'm glad you found for yourself how useful and important photo references can be when drawing or storyboarding. Keep practicing and you'll definitely get better!
You would have realised by now how important everyone's contribution in a group is. If everyone put in their best efforts, the product would be a big BANG!
You'll find that having to stay up late whilst working on a project in the industry is quite a common thing. But at least you'll have your colleagues and in this case, groupmates and aren't alone on this.
